QA Engineer

Mediation application provides mediation solutions for telecommunication networks. It’s a voice and data mediation solution that aggregates and correlates data from a wide variety of switches throughout the network to deliver a complete picture of subscriber activity. It enables service providers to integrate the platform into multiple networks simultaneously, preserving investments in legacy infrastructure while deploying cutting-edge infrastructure to support new IP-based services.

Setting up test environments and configuring various components of the application using JDBC API to establish a connection with oracle database and configuring MySQL and Apache webserver for Bugzilla on Linux machines. Configured In-Memory DB and performed testing on the same.

Worked closely with the development team and down stream billing systems (Telegance, CPW, ICORE, and ENABLER) in resolving the bugs.

Performed backend testing using SQL and PL/SQL scripts. Performed Data Driven Tests with positive and negative sets of data. Queried databases with inner an outer joins to obtain sample data for billing verification. Added to hints for fine tuning the SQL queries.
