Class Projects:

• Class project at UPRM- Wiring (Residential Design)

- The project consisted on residential design of a given house.

- For this design, the NEC code was used and I performed all calculation and desired requirements like the general lighting, dedicated load, total load of feeders and ampacity and voltage drop.

• Class project at UPRM- Power Electronics

-The project consisted on the configuration of a buck-boost converter and a buck converter.

- Use of the program LT-Spice to perform the desired simulations of both configurations and see the behavior of the output voltages and currents. Preformed calculation of components like: resistance, inductance, capacitance and duty cycle.

• Class project at UPRM- Power System Analysis

-The project consisted of analyzing a given power system that consisted of 11 buses.

- For this project the use of programs of Power World and Math LAB to simulate the system in which a comparison between them is made using the resulted voltages, currents and angles. The admittance matrix and sequence circuits where used to analyze the desired system.

- The methods use in this project is Newton-Raphson, Gauss-Seidel and fault analysis that both programs provide.

• Class project at UPRM- Capstone

-The project consisted on creating a micro grid for the Stefani building in the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus in which this micro grid will be interconnected with another building of the University.

- The micro grid consisted of solar panels, battery banks and a micro turbine in case of emergency in which the micro grid will be supplying the reduced consumption of each of the substation in the Stefani building.

Extracurricular Activities

Self-training with Direct Logic 205 PLC system and Do-More programming software; at this time I am building a Small Programmable Controller System compose of Logic 205 Rack, H2-DM1E processor and Digital I/O modules. Present
