Technical Delivery Manager for the Stargate (LMA) SDLC Environments whose scope was to remediate severity 1 self-identified audit issues of 121 Home Loan and Insurance Technology applications that do not have the bank standard SDLC environments (development, testing, production and contingency) required for change management, system development and for all applications that have transitioned support from the Lines of Business (LOB) to Technology. Responsible for coordination of migration events, financial reporting, facilitating team meetings and executive reporting.

These projects included implementation of a secure email, scanning and Fax solutions, conversion of 15 business partners from FTP to SFTP, remediation of security findings on Green Dot’s network firewall and server 2003 environments and user level and group access security.

Project managed a team of 7 engineers tasked with the conversion and decommissioning of applications, tools, and processes formally used by the defunct groups under the Commercial Services Department, Wire Operations and Builders Finance Group at Countrywide Bank. These applications were used for web content management, fraud protection; remote cashier’s check printing, XML wire advices and various other applications in the bank’s Windows Server 2000 and 2003 environments.

CFC Project Manager of a team Electronic Payment engineers who successfully completed the conversion of the legacy CFC Wire systems data (historical and real time) from GFX to the production Bank of America W and WTX wire operation systems.

CFC Project Manager of a team Electronic Payment engineers who successfully completed the conversion of the legacy CFC ACH data transfers and interfaces to the production Bank of America ACX system.

Role: IT Project Manager, Lead Systems Engineer Commercial Bank

Major Accomplishments:

Over a 5 year period with partnered business clients (product managers and senior management) to effectively manage several successful releases of various durations of scheduled application functionality enhancements, vendor patch implementation and fixes for production issues for bank Microsoft Patch Management for Commercial Banking systems.

Over a 5 year period managed the Commercial Bank Disaster Recovery Program. Created business resumption, technical recovery and crisis management plans and system diagrams. Completed successful annual DR tests with 3rd party vendors and the bank’s integrated systems. In conjunction with the BCP Team, performed quarterly table talk walk through of disaster recovery scenarios and disaster recovery plan updates with our line of business partners. Final reviewer and approver for disaster recovery plans for the Commercial Engineering Team. Responsible for maintaining the plan updates, versioning to the corporate LDRPS system for the Commercial Team. Completed successful annual DR tests with our line of business and technology partners. Responsible for management presentation of testing results.

Successfully managed two interdependent Bank IT Infrastructure projects involving relocation and migration of the Commercial Bank’s disaster recovery, test and development server to new datacenters located in Fort Worth and Simi Valley.

Successfully managed the Signal Point of Failure Project that identified all Commercial Banking systems application and hardware vulnerabilities and then built the guidelines to remediate them. Results of project provided the Commercial Banking systems with highly available and geographically dispersed Production and Disaster Recovery environments.

Project Manager responsible for the upgrade of 170 Bank servers from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. These servers were located in the 4 CWB data centers and were done in a risked based approach based on the BCP rating of applications associated to the servers.

Was one of two project managers who successfully managed the project that converted the bank’s financial processing system from Kirchman Banking Systems to Fiserv CBS core banking systems. As part of this conversion project the QA, DR and staging environments were designed and were implemented. Project netted vendor contract savings of $250,000.

Successfully managed the project to develop a multi-tier Intranet based real time Intraday Wire Activity Reporting System for Bank’s Treasury to monitor Bank’s daily liquidity position. Interfaced data feeds from BankServ’s Global Funds Exchange (GFX) system and Fiserv’s Comprehensive Banking System (CBS) to process daily wire activity volume of $1.5 billion.

Successfully managed the Cashier’s Checks on Demand system project that provided remote bank clients with the ability to print cashier’s checks from their branch sites. Project on-boarded 7 new clients with deposits of $500,000

Successfully managed the Nautilus Archive system project to provide the bank with an automated scanning process check images and a central repository for all the banks imaged files. Cost Savings to company was approximately $100,000 annually in processing costs.

Successfully managed the Commercial Systems Staging Environment build out which upon completion gave the Commercial Bank a pristine Gold Code environment for system releases. Result provided the final environment for the bank’s SDLC process.

Successfully managed the Secure File Transfer Environment build out which upon completion gave the Commercial Bank a secure environment for file transfer between Commercial Banking Systems to 3rd party vendors ACI, Fiserv and OBS.

Completed successful annual DR tests with Sungard Recovery systems and IndyMac’s Production La Mirada and Pasadena Failover Data Centers. In conjunction with the BCP Team, performed quarterly table talk walk through of disaster recovery scenarios and disaster recovery plan updates with our line of business partners. Final reviewer and approver for disaster recovery plans for all the corporate wide applications. Responsible for maintaining the plan updates, versioning and software upgrades to the corporate LDRPS system. Responsible for management presentation of testing results.

Project manager of the Interim Data Center Project that designed, tested and implemented a 90-server footprint of the company’s core business systems that provided the business with a failover DR data center.

Project Manager responsible for the upgrade of 120 Bank servers from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. These servers were located in the 2 IMB data centers and were done in a risked based approach based on the BCP rating of applications associated to the servers.
