Development Phase:
Continuous interaction with project design team and review all soil and material investigations and pavement design submissions;
Along with Senior Quality cum Material Expert, setting up of various procedures for quality control and testing;
Oversee setting up of a material testing laboratory and calibration of testing equipment;
Vetting of project pavement design considering concessionaires proposals of flexible/ rigid pavement option and capacity augmentation plan during the concession period;
Review construction methodologies and control test specifications;
Review O&M planning and ensure that pavement maintenance planning is acceptable;
Construction Phase:
Monitor quality assurance and quality control tests;
Inspection and supervision of pavement construction;
Solving pavement related technical and construction issues;
Intervene to ensure correct application of modern pavement construction technology and materials;
O&M Phase:
Review of O&M program in the light of performance requirements;
Regular scheduled visit to monitor the performance of pavement and maintenance activities and their compliance with performance requirements;
Advice on pavement related technical issues

Mr. Shekhar Sudhir Wath, who is a Graduate in Civil Engineering, has varied and rich experience of more than 6 years of professional Experience out of which about 4 years in Power Plant such as Sugar Industries, Pharmaceutical Plant etc. 1 & year experience in Residential Project such as Construction of Military Quarter etc. 2 & year experience in Renovation & Rehabilitation of JNPT Project & MCGM Project. During his long standing in the profession, he has handled works pertaining to the areas of Quality Control, Contract Management, Construction Supervision of Highways, Residential & Commercial Project. Organization and Management of Engineering staff besides dealing with Contractors and Sub-contractors. His duties in these projects also include supervision of construction, soils and materials testing, mix design, and pavement design. His prime role as Engineer in all types of highway projects adopting using modern construction technology for laying of rigid & flexible pavements His vast experience will help to ensure that all local staff are adequately trained in related civil work to meet the requirements of the project, and further that they are also familiar with FIDIC guidelines, besides ensuring proper guidance and control in the supervision works. During his all site supervision assignments, been responsible for implementing and managing the supervision work based on FIDIC regulation, preparation of Standard Operating Procedure, Project Planning and Management, organization and lay out of the contractor’s field laboratories.
