Seconded by Kellogg at the request of Shell to serve as quality manager for the Obigbo Associated Gas Gathering project. Conducted joint venture audits with client resulting in project quality incentive bonuses.

Seconded by BP to serve as quality manager for the Mardi Gras Transportation System. Developed client’s quality management system and provided training for the BP project team. Supervised planning and execution of all quality audits, including tracking and closing of audit findings. Consulted with subcontractors to ensure compliance with BP project requirements. Designed and implemented project document control process to ensure smooth transition to BP Operations.

Consulted with Chevron Texaco Area A Gas gathering program and facilitated improvement and implementation of change management system. This system was successful in controlling unauthorized changes in the project’s scope of work.

Consulted on BP Pipeline North America and developed program management plan for their on going pipeline projects.

Served as quality consultant for BP Deepwater Development special projects unit. Developed QMS, incorporating BP’s Major Project Common Processes and their Integrity Management processes into a single, comprehensive system.

Previous Work History (1974 to 1997)

Prior to Quality Management, have 21 years of experience as a structural designer in the oil & gas industry. This experience includes both onshore and offshore drilling and production facilities, where lessons learned and customer feedback continually emphasized the importance for quality assurance and the need for quality control. Working for multiple organizations, provided exposure to best practices regarding project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and construction systems, processes and procedures.
