Spectrophotometer – use to measure the colour density, hue and shade of a printed sample. Use extensively in colour matching.

Gas Chromatography Analyser – use to measure the purity of a liquid sample. Commonly use in measuring the purity of solvents (raw material in producing an ink).

Bond Strength Tester – use to measure the bond strength between the base film and the laminant.

Heat Gradient Tester – use in testing the heat resistance of and ink.

Laboratory Oven – its ease of control and stability in temperature makes it useful in testing different properties of an ink.

Viscosity Cups – use in measuring the viscosity of an ink. The unit is in seconds using a stopwatch as a timer.

Density Cup – use in measuring the density of an ink.

Digital Viscometer – use to measure the viscosity of an ink in centi-poise as the unit.
