Neurosemantic project - In this project, the language processing mechanism of the brain and the e ect of cultural di erences on it will be analyzed using unsupervised learning. Currently, the fMRI data of brain activity, captured during di erent experiment on semantic stimuli is being analyzed using PyMVPA. Academic Projects
i) Crawl Clean and Learn - The WikiCFP website is crawled to collect data about conferences, cleaned with OpenRe ne and computed statistical information using Hadoop MapReduce. (JAVA, OpenRe ne, Hadoop MapReduce) ii) Splicing Site Recognition System - A rst order hidden markov model is developed and trained using maximum likelihood estimation. A test accuracy of 68.8% is obtained on a dataset consisting of 570 vertebrate gene. The state path is generated as output for a DNA sequence using Viterbi algorithm. (MATLAB) iii) Target Firing System - A micro-controller based project where an image of ring board is captured from a live video stream and distance among the bullet holes are calculated to determine a shooters competency. (PROCESSING) iv) Inventory Management System for DGDP - A web application development project that manages the inventory system of an organization for the di erent level of users. (WordPress, HTML, CSS, SQL) v) The Culture & Heritage of Bangladesh - A web application development project that contains information about the culture and heritage of Bangladesh. (PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL) vi) Atmospheric Layer Structure - A 2D graphics project that shows the atmospheric layers surrounding the world through animation. (C++, OpenGL)
vii) Private Jet - A 3D graphics project that shows the interior of a luxurious Private Jet and the outside view of the Jet.
(C++, OpenGL)
