I am a very good read of people. I listen not just to what they are saying, but how they say it and with type of body language, tone of voice, and eye movement. I listen with my eyes as well as my ears. I will speak my mind when appropriate. However I am not quick to judge and incapable of holding a grudge.

I have a vast range of construction skills . At the age of 15, I started repairing rental duplexes working for my fathers small business. I cleaned and serviced pool equipment for my brothers pool service part time for 2 yrs in high school as well . Upon graduation from high school, I suppose I was thrill seeking and or "had the need for speed"! Joined the United States Marines spent 3 yrs in as a combat ready Marine. Shortly there after I worked for Aquarius pool and patio as pool shop Mgr. ( repaired equipment in shop, sold patio furniture and pool supplies). Just a note, As I reflect I enjoyed the social part of retail. 2 yrs as a property mgr of a 110 unit condo complex took care basic maintenance and oversaw all other outside vendors which performed work on site. 18 mos as project mgr for assisted living ctr co. managed remodel of 4 different facilities . Total of 15 yrs as lead remodel technician for my fathers construction co. ( Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile, and drywall ) I am a very good plumber . During my years as lead tech for my A G const. I re fitted more than 50 homes with copper pipes after removing all existing inner coroded galvanized pipes thru the homes we worked on. I have the ability to build a house and or oversee the construction there of . After my father passing at age 35 I decided that at that time I did not want to become the contractor. An opportunity showed in the want ads one day so I decided to become a member of the Union pacific Railroad. I was hired as a lead track machine oper. during rebuild of Roseville yard. I spent 6 yrs in track dept as a trackman building and renovating RR tracks ( running heavy equip. and gen labor and Yes swung a spike maul pounding down spikes old school just like in the movies ) During my tenure there I also worked in the building and bridges dept. for 6 yrs replacing large components on many of the bridges in ca. and supervised the maintenance of several RR owned buildings in the Roseville and Sacramento areas. The last 5 years of my 20 yrs with RR I was a project coordinator/material foreman . Responsible for procuring all materials necessary for the projects scheduled in that calendar year as well as supervised dispatched of our fleet of trucks to insure on time delivery of all materials and equipment required for the projects which employed multiple work groups in California and Nevada.
