My greatest strength is my ability to gather information from multiple computer and human resources and synthesize the information into a probable cause for the observed problem.
I have lots of experience gathering the information by reading symptoms
and interviewing relevant parties.
While the analysis is being done, I feed back the information and analysis
to technical teams and management to work towards a solution. I have done this for most of the fortune 50 companies while working for
Sun Micro Systems and, later Oracle Corporation.
I practice active listening, blame free evaluation, and seek solutions rather than blame.
I also have previous experience as a program designer and program developer
which allows me to understand the possibilities and limitations inherent
in computer systems.
I have a certificate in Quality Assurance to I can understand and support
the bug reporting process in such a way as to allow an engineering team to
locate and remediate computer hardware and software problems. I have been a lead technical engineer and I have experience leading small to
medium size teams (10-20 engineers/managers) on a day to day basis. I am seeking another position within the computer industry which will allow me
to use my current skills and develop new ones to support customer success in
using computer systems to run and manage their businesses. Job Experience
I have been working in the computer industry since 198*-****-**** (Mostly Self Employed)
I started out working for a company (Kaplan and Associates) doing Statistical Fault
Analysis using stochastic methods and the Fortran Programming Language I left this company and became self employed creating customer accounts
receivable programs for smaller businesses using IBM Basic and Cobol. I also made modifications to already extent accounting programs. Mostly
in Cobol.
After 2 years of this, I began to create MRP, Accounts Management, Inventory
Control, and Business management programs in using database back ends and
custom front ends. This was my main business for about 10 years 1990 - 1996 The Santa Cruz Operation
This was an Intel Unix Based Operating System Company (no longer exists)
I started out in general customer support. Then I started doing Bug fixes,
qualifying the bug fixes, and delivering the bug fixes to the customers.
I became a member of the general product council (support representative)
and a large account support Representative (Travel and account management required).
1996-1999 Borland International - Interbase Division I was a Technical Support Team manager and Senior Support Engineer for 2 years until the division was sold.
1999-2009 Sun Microsystems
I started out in the Kernel Support team (stayed there for one year) and then I was transferred to the Veritas Oracle Sun Joint Initiative
(VOS).
In this capacity, I worked on an interoperability team with members from
other companies to resolve complex interoperability issues between Oracle DB, Sun OS, and Veritas File System products. 2009-2015 Oracle Corporation (Oracle bought Sun)
I continued to work for the VOS initiative until it disbanded. I was then transferred to the Kernel Team for 3 years. Finally, I was transferred to the Enterprise Manager Ops Center Team. I was laid off (support requirements slow-down) on June 10th of 2015 Job Skills Developed.

Education
I have 5 years of College from UCLA. I did not graduate. Major Physics/Mathmatics
Minors Philosophy, History, computer science (degree did not exist) I currently live in Sacramento, CA and I am willing to travel and relocate as
necessary. I can work odd shifts as needed.
