Perform monitoring of continuous and long term EEG studies including but not limited to: reviewing ongoing studies, for clinical, sub clinical seizures, recognizing normal variants, recognizing and understanding the significance of inter-ictal epileptiform and non-epileptiform activity, and identifying different types if artifact and taking the necessary action to correct it.

Observing and trouble- shooting the EEG (record) for quality, and making corrections as needed to maintain quality including but not limited to impedance checks, and detecting salt bridges.

Utilized the international 10-20 system for the application of surface electrodes with collodion.

Performed standard EEG recording on all ages using Nihon Kohden equipment (wake and sleep, bedside, isolation, and electrocerebral inactivity evaluations) demonstrated proficiency in the International 10-20 system as well as Supplementary Positions (10-10 for EMU patients) in order to maintain standardization of electrode application; routinely applies surface electrodes with paste or collodion in the 10-20/10-10 system to further enhance epileptogenic focus

Performed other specialized studies such as EMU, Tilt table, PET-SCAN and WADA Studies.

Provides appropriate patient care and detailed observations of clinical manifestations during seizures and other patient emergency situations.

Cleans and keeps equipment in good operating condition; ensures (electrical) safety of the patient at all times; performs maintenance and minor repair of laboratory equipment and reports the need for major repair.
