Call Center Agent
The Jackson Group - Hickory, NC - November 2015 to Present I do health care surveys over the phone in a call center. I have also filled in for our receptionist several times while she was out of work. I answered phones, greeted clients, separated mail, sent mail out and several other things as well. I am still currently employed with this company, but I am looking for a career not just a job. I enjoyed the multitasking the job at the front desk required of me. I am quick learner and I am also work with excel quite a bit for data entry on surveys.

SALEM SLOAN CHILD ENRICHMENT CENTER - August 2007 to November 2013 I was the lead teacher for the (3) year olds, with various duties, including supervising and coordinating their daily activities, verifying they received appropriate rest times, evaluated their involvement with others and talked with parents as needed and legal authorities when needed. I am certified in CPR and first aide, plus have all my child care credentials.

CHILD CARE & VIDEO STORE - Maiden, NC - May 2002 to April 2007 I held (2) jobs from May 2002 until April 2007, with a part time job at a local video store as an assistant working with the manager and customers, and watching children in my home (infant through toddler). I watched up to (3) kids and enjoyed working with families as it was self-satisfying working with the customer and seeing and hearing their positive feedback.

CVS PHARMACY - Conover, NC - August 1999 to April 2002 I was the Photo-Lab and Shift Supervisor, responsible for the quality of photographs at the Conover facility, supervision of employees on a daily basis and customer service. Duties include (but not limited to) training of employees in the photo-lab, scheduling of hours, assuring that stock levels were maintained, closure of store at end of day and responsible for the problem solving of the customers and their complaints. The customer service area had its rewards as it was very satisfying witnessing positive resolution to a customers problem and/or need.

Duties included (but not limited to), customer satisfaction, making sure that orders were prepared to scheduled times, maintaining in-restaurant buffet, ordering supplies as needed, scheduling time of others, keeping area sanitary and clean and close restaurant at the end of the day.

At IHOP, I served as a waitress, cashier and hostess. As Hostess I made sure customers were seated in order and quickly as possible, while making sure that waitresses were not overloaded in any one area. As Waitress, I took orders, worked with kitchen personnel, with my main focus on making sure that the customer was happy. As Cashier, I took money from the customers, verified it was legal tender, and returned change (if any) along with receipt to the customer; while forwarding tips to appropriate personnel. EDUCATION
