Pharma Modernization (PMOD)

Client: US Based Healthcare major

Responsibilities:

Understand non-functional requirements & derive the approach for the Non-functional testing

Create Test Estimation (Work breakdown structure) and Performance Test plan and get it approved from Client.

Build a team for project and deliver them required knowledge of application and project

Perform early PE testing with the help of IE developer tool and raise code level defect in early phase of performance Testing

Prepare required test scripts using HP VuGen & C functions. Mentor the team and help them technically during script creation. Review their scripts and suggest a modification if any.

Perform Single user PE test as soon as any flow script is ready and provide results to client if found any transaction SLA breach with a Single user

Design the work load model for load, Stress, location test scenarios for various operations and perform the execution

Monitor execution for Online transaction response time, throughput, Hits per second, Error message and Error log

Analyze the results thoroughly and prepare detail test analysis reports

Discuss results with all stakeholders and raise the defects for SLA breaching transactions.

Attend defect triage call and understand the changes happening over application to resolve functional and non-functional defects

Update scripts for new releases and perform similar execution to retest the defect

Understand application and Gather non-functional requirements

As per requirements prepare the test strategy & master test plan document.

After sign-off for the above mentioned documents, start scripting activity with the help HP Vugen, C functions on the basis of requirements in the release plan.

Configure & maintain the load test data, make environment ready for testing.

Develop and maintain the various scenarios to replicate the real time production traffic.

Configure the server monitoring services using HP Sitescope & SolarWind

Executed load & Stress test scenarios and regression testing for various operations and performed detailed test analysis reports

Monitoring performance counters for online transaction response times, Web hits, TCP IP Connections, Throughput using HP Controller.

Bottlenecks were identified and rectified by changing configurations, adding Indexes etc.

Co-ordinate with the developers & production team, as like 1st level contact for the production team in case of performance issues.

Validate all performance test results & provide sign off to business after agreement for performance concerns, if any.

After completion of testing cycle, host post implementation review from application performance perspective.
