B.E. - “Magnetic and Eddy Current Braking System”
This project does not address the control aspect of the system; it addresses the physical concept of using an induced electromagnetic field to slow the proposed vehicle. The goal is lessening the lifetime maintenance of a vehicle and eliminating several high maintenance items. This system is designed as a “frictionless” system and although it is not completely frictionless it eliminates the need for standard hydraulic brake pads and rotors which wear and fail due to friction material loss. This saves the consumer time and money in maintenance.
Software used: CATIA V17, ANSYS 10, MS OFFICE.
M.E. – “Design and analysis of lifting tackle for V Engine” This is an lifting device use to lift 6- Cylinder head from machining line And put it on different location .For this purpose basically belt are use but this is not safer way to lift an 300 kg engine block
. So, our target is to design a device which is capable for such purpose and with higher safety provision. For this project main scope is design of few model and analyse it in ANSYS for different load condition and then test the manufactured model and finalized the design for Manufacturing. Software used: CATIA V6R20, ANSYS 14, MS OFFICE.
