Synopsis

Currently I am working as a site structural engineer with Parsons International for Riyadh metro railway project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Professional work experience

Parsons International, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (August 2015 - Present) Site Structural Engineer- Civil Infrastructure, Riyadh Metro Rail Project The Riyadh metro Project consist of 6 lines with package 1,2&3. Package 1&2 caries JV of parsons, systra, Egis railway and package 3 carries JV of Louis Berger and Hill international. My assignments is in Package 2,Which includes line 3 of total length 40km,22 stations having viaduct, tunnel and at grade.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

Structural inspection of via duct segments, station segments, underground station work etc.

Inspection of Post tensioning duct profile alignment and assure it with in the tolerance limit as per the method of statement.

Pre-stressing, post tensioning, grouting of different structures.

Inspection of materials,formwork, Supervision and monitoring of the casting of the segment.

Repair of the segment using different approved material as per the specification.

Monitoring and inspecting the work of sub-contractors and other third parties.

Ensure the methodologies, specified method statements and ITPs are followed for permanent/non- permanent work elements.

Review and monitor contractors performance to ensure works are being conducted to the approved methodology, specific method statements, risk assessments and ITP’s(Inspection and Test Plans)

Responsible for producing the daily summary and verification reports (Inc. recording of site delays or contractor is in compliance. Liaison with site planners to review progress and report to Resident engineer accordingly

Management of D&B Contractor and them subcontractor/suppliers to deliver the works safely and within the programme/budget targets

Identifying site issues/defected work or non-compliance/approved materials and raising the non- conformance report (NCR) after consulting the resident engineer and the QA engineer assigned to the work place. Also following up the NCR at site once the close out actions have been agreed.

Conduct weekly progress meeting or more frequently if required with contractor and staff and report back to the resident engineer.

Monitor the implementation of the contractor’s Quality control program and inspect the work executed upon the inspection requests (IRs) issued by the contractor.
