Previously employed as an Inspector of machined parts from September 25, 2015 to June 9, 2017, prior to that as an ACR Inspector / FAA certified Repairman from March 12, 2012 to September 25, 2015 for the same company. Duties included, all phases of inspecting aircraft components along with return to service.
I have been employed in manufacturing for over 40 years, involved in inspection for the past 25 years. The previous 16 years was with a leading manufacturing company of Diesel Fuel Injection Pumps and injectors in central CT. Skilled with various measuring equipment and tools such as micrometers, calipers, air gages and microscopes. Experienced in inspection of tight tolerances within millions of an inch.
From Oct. 2003 to Dec 2010, I was the Quality Assurance Supervisor responsible for plant wide quality. My responsibilities consisted of supervising the quality department containing 12 inspectors, areas included purchased parts, purchased tools, machine audits, check station inspection, debris lab, sorting dept., magnaflux and eddy current inspection. Worked with Product and Manufacturing Engineers on a daily basis to resolve quality and production problems. Responsible for keeping detailed records of inspections performed, also the author of all quality work instructions and IMS sheets. Daily review of time cards and responsible for yearly review of all quality inspectors.
