Started career after diploma in mechanical engineering with Martek Engineering Works, Mumbai as a trainee marine engineer.

Learnt the basic workshop activities like working on Lathes, Milling, Drilling and Grinding.

Basic fabrication work like welding, gas cutting and cutting was also learnt.

Worked hands on Merchant ships, Oil Tankers and VLCC doing maintenance and decarb of Main Engines and Generators. Also replaced boiler tubes in an oil tanker at Cochin Shipyard Limited.

Maintenance work of the same was done in Mid sea ( Bombay High), Mumbai Port Trust and at Cochin Shipyard Limited.

Left the company after 9 months to do my engineering.

2 Joined Prakash Marketing, Pune as a sales and service engineer in July, 1995

The company were dealers for Thermax Surface Coatings Limited and many other industrial products like Pneumatic tools, high temperature grease, electronic sensors, Industrial Paints.

Responsible for marketing of products of Thermax Surface Coatings Ltd. Which included small paint and powder coating plants, powder and liquid painting equipments and a new product – industrial washing machines from MARR Engg, UK.

Successfully completed the training programme of Sales/Service held at Thermax Technical Centre in 1995.

Sucessfully completed training at Grand polycoats for Industrial PU & Epoxy paints at Vadodara, Gujarat.

Promoted as a Senior Sales and service Engineer in November, 1995.

The Company managed to sell the maximum machines in Maharashtra and Goa and was adjudged the Best Dealer in April, 1996.

Left the company in May 1996 for better prospects.

3 Joined Surcoat Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Pune the marketing arm of Statfield Systems (Coating) Pvt. Ltd. the pioneers in the field of Surface Coating as an Engineer, Projects in June 1996

The job responsibility being marketing and designing Paint shops ( powder and Paint ) depending on the customers requirement.

The job also involved estimation, costing and forwarding the quote to the customer. Payment follow up was also done.

The job also included lots of travelling and was given Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.

Resigned from the organisation on 31st December,1997 with the Director, Projects to work in an Indo-German joint venture.

4 Joined Twin Infratec Pvt. Ltd. an Indo German Joint Venture on 1st Jan, 1998 as an Engineer, Projects.

The job required extensive travelling as the concept was new. We marketed Medium Wave Twin Tube Infrared Radiators imported from Germany and also developed IR ovens as per the requirement of Customer.

Promoted as Manager, Projects in August, 1998. Bagged orders from Ford India Ltd., Tata motors, Hero Cycles, Sekurit Saint Gobain Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra to name a few.

Design, Estimation, Quotation, Erection, Commissioning and Payment follow up was part of the job. Fabrication was done through dedicated vendors developed by the company as per the drawings provided.

Left the organisation on 31st December 2000.

5 Floated a partnership company Surface Techniques in January 2001

6 Joined Perfect Engineering & Allied Works, Baroda in July 2011 and worked till Feb 2012 looking after capital Purchase, Estimation and technical follow up with the customers. The main Product of the company was manufacturing Vacuum Driers used by pharmaceutical companies and also take up heavy fabrication jobs.

7 Joined Red Line industries Limited as Asst. Manager Sales from March 2012 to February 2013.

The job includes sales along with servicing of powder coating equipments and plants.

8 Asst. Sales Manager – West with Wagner Industrial Solutions, GmbH catering to the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Sales of Liquid and Powder Coating Equipments along with Recovery systems of Powder Coating Booths.

The job includes generating new enquiries, co-ordinating with the dealers, commissioning of the equipments along with trials at the end user.
