Duties and Responsibilities:

Fire Alarm Service includes:

oTest main fire alarm control panel to verify proper operation of emergency power

osupplies, battery back-up devices, battery charging, alarm, supervisory, trouble,

osignaling and auxiliary circuits.

oActivate all manual pull stations

oPerform functionality test on fire alarm system smoke, heat and/or combination

odetectors

oFunction all listed duct smoke detectors and verify automatic equipment

oshutdown

oVerify proper operation of door hold open devices

oOperate fire sprinkler tamper and water flow devices

oWire and install low voltage systems; fire alarm, security, nurse call, CCTV, camera, etc.

Troubleshoot and diagnose, systems and make repairs as necessary

Customer Training

Inspection with Fire Marshals

Maintain safe work practices at all times

Maintained assigned vehicle, tools and required inventory levels

Respond to emergency situations during and after hours

Basic computer knowledge

Supervise Building Project for Fire Alarm System

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Travel to a variety of worksites in a work vehicle

Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Climbing a 16’-24’ ladder on some job sites

Able to work in extreme temperatures
