About the Project:

The project involves working with the customer on a partnership mode as they have outsourced their core process - Claims Adjudication. It's primarily a validation process on customer's Main frame system that involves lot of human interpretations, judgments and decision making by understanding the customer's business rules, Industry implications, characteristics of their different product lines and product types and applying that to the claims that are being processed.

Achievements:

Received multiple OPAL award for best quality and productivity of the month.

Received WOW award for best productivity of the month.

Responsibilities:

Processing "U.S. Health Care Claims" by logging through Citrix ICA Client and adjudicating the claims in "Customer Server".

Validating the Member's History for Eligibility in terms of Age, Dollar Limit, Lifetime Maximum, and other specific Benefits with respect to the plan the member has chosen processes claims received by the Customer.

Involves accessing the Members' and Providers' Databases.

Claim Types involved Lab & Pathology, Radiology, Cardiology Claims, COB, Medicare, and Medicaid.
