PROJECTS

Data Analysis of Los Angeles Payroll Fall 2016

We Analyzed various kinds of Jobs based on constraints such as Airports, Buildings and Safety, Los Angeles Convention Center, Public Works etc.

We used Cloudberry to connect to a cluster and upload the data in Microsoft Azure. Executed Hive Queries in Azure and imported the data to Excel for Visualization.

Generated visualizations of number of parameters such as number of payrolls per year, Different types of employment, Average payment in each quarter over the year etc. using Microsoft Azure and Excel.

Web Application for a Company Fall 2016

Designed and developed the database to maintain information about projects, vendors, and invoices for the company.

Created the database centric web based application for the online company using oracle application Express (APEX).

Implemented log-in page, form to insert data into database, on-line report to show over-budged projects, total cost of projects.

Research Paper on IT Security Fall 2016

Discussed basic Security concepts like Confidentiality, integrity, availability, Non-repudiation and also information security threats.

Detailed study on Risk Management, Access Control and its three steps: Identification, Authentication and Authorization.

Discussed importance of Cryptography and the process of encryption in Information Security.

Confluence - People Connecting People Winter 2016

Developed a website that brings communities to come together in terms of job, social work, marriage bureau, etc. using Wix.

Described the technologies used in Car to Car Communication such as DSRC, Wireless LAN, GPRS, Cloud.

Discussed how C2C Communication works and how it manages to avoid traffic and accidents.

Discussed challenges like DSRC, Security, High Speed Real Time Communication, VANETs faced by C2C Communication.

Data Analysis of San Francisco Salaries Fall 2015

Collected the data set from an authentic source and uploaded it on Cloud using Cloudberry Explorer.

Converted the dataset from .csv format to Avro format using Hive SQL.

We considered five main parameters for analysis such as Change of Maximum Total Pay in 4 years, Change of Mean Pay Yearly, Mean Pay of each Department, Benefits given each Year, Payment Structure of each Department.

We used cloudberry, Excel, Tableau, Hive Queries, Microsoft Azure for visualization of these parameters.

Detecting Spam Zombies by Monitoring Outgoing Messages Summer 2014

Developed a mail system which a user can use to send, receive and save messages in draft by login in their account using .Net.

Consists of features like change password, trash mail. Also consists of address book to store person’s information.

It consists of Admin window using which one can detect spam mails by following two schemas: Spam Link Data and Spam Keyword Data.
