Installed, analyzed, and administered all backup servers enterprise-wide, updating firmware, hardware, software installation, upgrades and patches, fiber, SAN, and network configuration etc. Administered all backup tape libraries enterprise-wide, and coordinated tape pulls and forwarded to Iron Mountain or onsite vaults. Provided 1st level phone and electronic support for HP Data Protector software to external customers. Resolved issues with failing backups, hardware setup, configuration, and license issues. Authored online technical support documents and wrote ‘how to’ guideline that was given to customers to use when login process for support website changed. Served as the chairman and moderator for team meetings and, in 2007, ranked 2nd in highest amount of cases resolved.
