Experience

Hired temporarily as a pallet stacker for farmington fresh every day at 3:30. The first thing i must do when I get there is check the list for the first assignment, For example the room I`m located in operates red or green apples, and grapes. The produce are packaged in 2oz,3oz, and 1lb bags all based on the list, Then this information will let me know what boxes to get. Farmington fresh boxes are the most common boxes that are used and the only boxes that as to be marked to indicate the product that`s packaged. A best buy date is imprinted with an ink labeler by me, To make sure I have the right best buy date I`ll pick a bag that the machine operator as sent out. When boxes are completely packaged I`ll close the box and tape it down til it`s completely sealed shut. And carry the box to the pallet and position onto pallet with writing faced out. Sometimes the production line is moving fast so ill come from my Station to give a hand with the work load (packaging)

Hired as an utility worker, and machine operator in the manufactory field my position covers a wide variety taking on very important task. Assignments for utility are keeping floor clear at all times due to a clean work environment, The job also consist of lock out tag out which is a lock that notifies others that this machine will be down till further notice, utility worker,and machine

When entering a machine safety is our first priority it is very easy to hurt yourself. Machine cleanup must be performed from top to bottom wall to wall, Machinery I`ve cleaned are mixers 1&2 bag house 1&2 and another bag house in a different location. Tools we use to complete the assignment are shovel, Chisel, hammer, and air gun. As a machine operator (peeler) my duty is to thoroughly check machine making sure its operating in good condition, Check blade & grinding stone often for a change, When machine malfunctions use emergency stop. The operator must know speed, width, height, thickness, smell, and feel always keep a close eye on the material for rips and holes at the end of the day clean area with air gun and broom.
