Plastic Line – use extruders to jacket various types of cable such as URD and shielded cable. Monitor sizes and cut to specified lengths. Continuous Vulcanization (CV) Line - use extruders to insulate raw cable in triple tandem. Monitor sizes of compound being insulated by extruders and adjust as needed by changing RPM’s. Monitor cable after curing process and cut to specified lengths. Must ensure that cable meets customer specifications and tolerances due to the fact that this medium voltage cable is used by utility companies and must pass all quality control checks.
