WORK EXPERIENCE

ACCESS CONTROL SPECIALIST

KONIAG INFORMATION SECURITY SERVICES (KSS)/ DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY - Arlington, VA - July 2016 to Present

Execute Access Control systems administration tasks including: Provide timely, accurate, and auditable support for all access related functions and services of all customer processes and procedures, to ensure no unauthorized access is granted. Provide quarterly reviews of all top level groups to ensure all accounts are in the proper classification level. Maintain, create and update User/Desk Procedures Manual, and is responsible for maintaining, updating and keeping it current processes and procedures to ensure all work performed under the Access Control team is performed following written guidance

Establish, modify, delete and reset all USERIDs and passwords for all RD services. This includes definition and analysis of security requirements (with special attention to elevated access authority) to restrict access appropriately.

Ensure all mandatory security requirements are validated prior to processing access requests. These include, background investigations, security awareness training and other requirements outlined in Departmental and Agency security guidelines.

Provide USERID/access maintenance support for both internal and external auditing activities. Manage the distribution and return responses of visitor access request via Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) reports to all Points of Contact (POC) to validate appropriate access, ensuring least privilege and enforcing separation of duties. This includes, processing modifications communicated by the managers reviewing the reports, and following up to assure the reports were reviewed and changes submitted. Some reports will be generated by other organizational entities and the vendor shall coordinate the distribution and tracking of these reports.

ADMINISTRATIVE SECURITY OFFICER

CULPEPPER ASSOCIATES SECURITY SERVICES/ DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE - October 2011 to March 2016

• Authorized courier of National Security Information by Department Of Justice

• Ensures compliance with Department of Justice security policies and procedures

• Maintains documents and reports in appropriate file folders, both physically & electronically on secured networks and establish secure calls between attorney and clients using a classified network.

• Grants access to secure rooms using XO9 & XO7 combinations for council members assigned to cases and updates combinations on secure rooms and safes as needed. ACCESS CONTROL SPECIALIST

ADVANTAGE SCI/ DOD CONSOLIDATED ADJUDICATION FACILITY - Fort Meade, MD - October 2013 to January 2015

• Used Lenel security alarm systems to respond to alarms such as intrusion authority, anti-pass back, invalid access and 31 day expires.

• Enforced security polices and regulations that all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property are given badges- visible at all times, while maintaining an internal database using Microsoft Excel of arrival times, departures for visitors.

• Screened visitors using Rapid Scan X-ray machine to prevent any electronic devices from being permitted into the building.

• Responsible for crowd control during an evacuation while assisting Police Department/Fire Department/EMS or other officials during emergencies.
