OBJECTIVE
To work with a dynamic and outstanding organization where I can contribute my knowledge and experience that would make me a person of better professional excellence.
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Enthusiastic, sincere and hardworking Post Graduate Engineer with skills, talents and experience acquired from conditioning and training as an Engineer till date. Apart being a time bound operator, my professional qualities in analysis, organizing and management conflate with my personal attributes such as clarity in thought, composure and integrity to successfully achieve any task entrusted upon me.
PROJECTS AND SEMINAR PRESENTATIONS
A. Dissertation Topic:
1. Asymmetric Fault Alert of Three Phase Transmission Lines using Wi-Fi: A fault is detected when the system parameters (Voltage or Current) violates the permissible limits. Fault alert system is introduced, which alerts the control station when any fault occurs in the line.
Microprocessor Used: Advanced Risc Machine (ARM) – LPC 2312
2. Bridgeless Boost Rectifier: Conventional boost rectifiers have the disadvantage of having high conduction loss in the rectifier bridge. Bridgeless boost rectifier reduces conduction losses and improves efficiency by omitting rectifier bridge.
3. High Frequency LLC Resonant Inverter for Induction Heating with Asymmetrical Voltage Cancellation Method: A miniature prototype of an LLC resonant inverter for induction heating with an asymmetrical voltage control. High frequency operation reduces the overall size of the converter.
Simulation Software: MATLAB and PSIM
B. Seminars:
1. K-Rated Transformers: These transformers address the problems caused by non-linear loads and harmonics. They also compensate for stresses on a transformer’s winding insulation which prevents insulation breakdown and premature failure.
2. Grid Integration Issues in Distributed Generation: In today’s distribution grids the number of distributed generation (DG) units is increasing rapidly. Integration of these DG units into the distribution grid leads to planning as well as operational challenges
3. Application of Multiple Resistive Superconducting Fault Detection in Highly Interconnected Distribution systems: Superconducting Fault Current Limiters (SFCL) offer several benefits for electrical distribution systems especially with increasing distributed generation and the requirements for better network reliability and efficiency. Multiple SFCLs in a protection scheme used to locate faulted circuits using the CDD scheme.
