Toyota Financial Services (TFS) – Application Architect (12/2016 - present)

Participated in analyzing TFS auto financing delinquency and debt collection data. Selected optimal model by building collections predictive models with SVM, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression based on customer FICO scores and historic collections features, such as promise to pay and payment history, timing, contact channels, agent notes. The models categorized customers into different collection tiers based on their collections scores.

Customer category data were applied to establish new business processes by scheduling and routing calls, allocating money to different channels, guiding settlement rates. The improve collections processes collect 20% more debt than the existing call center processes.

Perficient Inc. – Lead Solution Architect (12/2007 – 11/2016)

Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) – Technical/Team Lead

Participated redesign of DTCC’s Global Trade Repository(GTR) trading message ingestion/ETL system. The system processes transactions for globally traded derivatives of interest rates, equities, credits, FX, and commodities. Researched best practices/design patterns and conducted PoC to migrate existing J2EE based, MQ and relational database centric ingestion system to AWS wit Kafka.

Led a team of 12+ onshore and offshore technical resources to develop a DTCC Enterprise Risk Portal. The portal serves as a single gateway of data and knowledge that provides timely critical information to financial analysts with clearing fund requirement, deposit, deficit, illiquidity, and other data to assess DTCC’s LOB risks.

BCBSF – AI Solution Architect

Worked with other data scientists to build models to analyze and predict health insurance claim fraud from providers and insurers. Analyzed the data correlations for feature selections. Built and compared predictive models with decision tree, KNN, logistic regression, neural network/TensorFlow. Analyzed modeling results and decided on the optimal model to adopt.

Analyzed, processed, cleansed, and verified the integrity of data using SPSS and Python. Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results for data visualization with Matplotlib, Seaborn.

Boeing Next Generation Portal – WCM Architect

Created PoC to showcase IBM Portal/WCM 8.x features and how to customize it to meet Boeing’s specific requirements. Created a single page application (SPA) with Angular JS and REST/JSON service to demonstrate how frontend developers can create applications with HTML5/CSS3/JS by leveraging IBM Script Portlet.

Evaluated migration paths to migrate Boeing’s departmental portals from Plumtree and SharePoint to IBM WCM. Created high level and detail level migration guide for business owner and content developers.

Mentored Boeing enterprise infrastructure team members on best practices on IBM security, analytics, performance, and SEO.

Fluor – DevOps Automation Engineer

Designed automated build processes for OneFluor project and communicated the design to stakeholders. Setup and configured build server for continuous build and deployment with Jenkins. Developed automated build scripts with bash, ws_ant, Maven, SVN, wsadmin, xmlaccess, Jython to enabled build and deployment automation from build server to dev, qa, and prod.

West Corporation – Solution Delivery Lead

Led a team of 5+ consultants successfully redesigned and migrated West’s customer facing portal from a single node WebSphere Portal Express 6.1/Quickr to WebSphere Portal 7 enable/Quickr clusters with dual site failover redundancy.

Created enterprise architect roadmap and server architectural design documents. Presented the roadmap to client stakeholders to have decision makers to sign off the design.

Worked with client enterprise architects to create hardware/software cost estimates by performing hardware sizing assessment and calculating the corresponding software licenses needed.

Advised and worked with AppServer admin to plan, install, configure, and test AppServer, IHS load balancing, LDAP, and Oracle DB configuration for Portal and Quickr cluster configuration.
