Labor Management
Managed up to 25-person maintenance crew installing, troubleshooting, and repairing turbines/generators and auxiliaries during power plant outages. Daily schedule included planning meeting with superintendent and technical director to prioritize projects before assigning jobs to crew. Performed daily updates including payroll, work orders and daily accountability report. Monitored individual employee’s job progress and forecast next day’s events during regular rounds. Interfaced with superintendent at day’s conclusion, communicating job progress and listening to future needs.
