Flavor and Fragrances Supply Manager
Overall management of the total Unilever HPCNA flavor and fragrance portfolio, including existing products and new product development. The management and development of a Purchasing Agent in these areas.
Key member of both Unilever Flavor and Fragrance global Buying Teams representing the North American Region. Responsible for coordinating North American activities within the Global framework.
Developed, introduced and coordinated the launching of the North American Fragrance Buying initiative during the consolidation of Lever Brothers. Chesebrough Ponds and Helene Curtis into Unilever HPCNA. This initiative ultimately consolidated the fragrance supplier portfolio from approximately 18 to 6 core suppliers. This resulted in a reduction of approximately 5 million dollars from the existing portfolio and a cumulative savings of 10 million dollars over a 3-year period.
Direct interface with the Marketing and Development areas for new product innovation.
Team member for the SAP/Purchasing implementation during the consolidation of the Lever Brother Chesebrough Ponds and Helene Curtis business units into Unilever HPCNA. Subsequent SAP “power user” for ongoing business and successive implementations of other SAP applications including Material Management and Sales/Distribution modules.
