Created Dimensions and Facts tables based on the client requirements for building a data warehouse.

Created views for end user reporting purposes.

Also conducted various tests in order to minimize bug fixing in the final deliverable.

Conducted code reviews and documented all the procedures involved for future use.

Was involved in the complete software development life cycle of the project.

PROJECT: BKF Migration (Business Knowledge Facility)

CLIENT: The Hartford(through Tata Consultancy Services Aug 2010 – Dec 2011)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

As part of BKF Migration team, learnt and successfully adapted to working with Oracle, Informatica and Autosys.

Successfully completed code and data migration AS IS from Teradata to Exadata ahead of the timeline specified.

Created tables, views required for the migration and maintained the PL/SQL scripts.

Created data mappings in Informatica PowerCenter and performed data migration from Teradata to Exadata.

Created jil scripts and deployed it in Autosys for automatic job scheduling.

Performed quality assurance and testing for the migrated code and data and worked with the end users to ensure the business needs are met.
