“Adaptive Method for Power Quality Improvement through Minimization of Harmonics in Motor Drive Applications using Artificial Intelligence”
Power system harmonics are a menace to an electric power system with disastrous consequence. Due to the presence of a nonlinear load, power quality of the system gets affected. To overcome this, shunt active power filter have been used near harmonic producing loads or at the point of common coupling to block current harmonics. Instantaneous power of a p-q theory is employed to generate the reference currents and the PI controller is used to controlling the dc link voltage. The main objective of is to analyze and compare THD of the source current with PI controller and by Artificial Neural Network (ANN).
“Fault Detection And Protection Of Induction Motor” Performs health checks on induction motors like over voltage, over current, under voltage, temperature, frequency, and vibration using PIC Microcontroller. The results will get displayed on the LCD. In addition to it, the details are transmitted via RS232 cable, in order to have a centralized area to display the results. If any abnormality is detected in any of the motors, automatically the motor gets turned off from the mains. Thus it prevents the motor from various faults and damage. "Microcontroller based heart rate meter”
Detects the rate of human heart beat. This project comprises the RS232 Cable (Wireless Communication medium) through which telemedicine (Report of the patient reaches the hospital before the patient reaches.). Thus delay in diagnosing before critical cases are minimized.
"LASER based intruder alarm”
