DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. MEP SITE MANAGER:
1.Develop a general QA/QC Plan to serve as Pre Construction, Construction and Post Construction Guideline during project implementation
2.Develop ITP (Inspection and Test Plans) and Method Statements for specific materials and installation with responsibility matrix
3.Conduct design review and raise RFI’s for conflicts, gray areas and over/under designs.
4.Develop/Initiate preparation of CSD’s (Combined Services Drawings) incorporating all MEPS works to resolve conflict areas.
5.Prepare/Check Material Submittals for approval by Consultants.
6.Prepare/Check detailed shop drawings, red line mark ups and as built drawings.
7.Conduct/Participate with technical meeting with Design and Project Management Consultants to highlight technical problems, work schedule slippage and propose corrective measures.
8.Overall supervision of works to check conformity with standards and specifications.
9.Develop procedures for Testing and Commissioning with utmost adherence to safety.
10.Prepare correspondences and technical write ups.
11.Prepare hand over/acceptance documents for project turn over.
12.Perform Cost Management with consideration to commercial and technical aspect of the project. Initiate value engineering if found feasible.
13.Prepare QS/estimates and participation in bid conferences for prospective projects.
B. ELECTRICAL COMMISSIONING, STARTUP AND SYSTEMS COMPLETION:
1.Enforce the highest level of safety and security to personnel including assets and equipment owned by the company.
2.Inform construction and pre-commissioning / commissioning work sequences according to system priorities and highlight critical works to facilitate planned commissioning activities.
3.Responsible to identify and marked up system limits-boundaries in the latest approved SLD drawings and P&ID.
4.Responsible for the preparation of Mechanical Completion and Commissioning Hand over Dossiers and system hand over to operation.
5.Responsible for revalidation of inputted data, Mechanical Completion Check sheets and Commissioning Completion Check sheets in ZENATOR data base.
6.Categorized and summarized punch list per sub system and give to construction and pre-commissioning for rectification prior to hand over to operation and introduction of hydrocarbon.
7.Organized interface meeting between the company and contractor project team with regards to the issuance of Ready for Commissioning Certificate and Ready for Startup certificate (Commissioning Clearance Certificate).
8.Commissioning of high voltage/low voltage switchgears, motor control centers, emergency
Diesel generators and power transformers. Setting, calibration, and testing of power system
Protective relays.
9.Commissioning and startup of facilities utility and safety systems such as diesel and fuel gas
Systems, vent/flare and drain systems, hot oil system, firewater and deluge systems,
Produced water system, seawater and potable water systems, instrument and service air
System, chemical injection system, UPS and DC systems, communication systems, etc...
10.Prepare daily Commissioning activities, progress measurement and evaluate progress for reporting directly to Project Manager and Planning Department.
11.Evaluate and resolve any field design problems, drawing discrepancies and coordinate such matters to client.
12.Lead the commissioning and startup and prepare energization program.
13.Perform Lock out –Tag out on electrical equipment.
14.Attend inspection for SAT and certification.

B. ENGINEERING:

21.Review materials needed for construction, precommissioning, commissioning, and start up, completion to ensure on time availability during the phase of implementation.
22.Perform field and office engineering by gathering information to provide basic and detailed engineering design and calculation of electrical loads. This includes by consideration but not limited to the area of classification, applicable codes standard and project specification, etc.
23.Review and evaluate materials and Equipment acceptability and conformance to specification (either supplied by Client or consumable supplied by Contractor).
