Assistant Network Engineer at the University of Bridgeport (Security Department): AUG 2016-MAY 2017

Performed network documentation and created disaster recovery plan. Setup Cisco IDS and Works for Windows for network monitoring.

Oversaw migration of WAN links to new service provider, designed full mesh WAN, set up TFTP server to backup, and restored configuration and IOS image files for the PIX, Cisco routers, and Catalyst switches.

Network security using honeypot networks JAN 2017- MAY 2017

Used a Honeypot and analyzed the origin, types, frequency, and IP spoofing of the attacks on the honeypot. Firstly, by deploying a honeypot using MHN to detect what kind of attacks system is vulnerable to and then made our own virtual honeypot and configured it to trace intruders. Also analyzed honeypots such as Snort, Suricata, Wordpot, Shockpot.

Network traffic monitoring and windows remote manager AUGUST 2016- DEC 2016

•Remote desktop application which is providing remote service to its entire client over the network and gives solution to the network administrator to monitor the Network Traffic which is provided at the server side and the administrator can build firewall for LAN/WAN by providing some rules.

Network security protocol with cryptography with RFID system AUGUST 2016- DEC 2016

•The brief orientation of the ancient and important concept used for network security which is nothing but cryptography. The cryptographic method is broadly used within network security and yet we face the problem of hacking and unauthenticated access.
