Project Description: The project involved the Enterprise application development for Islington College, Kathmandu, Nepal. It included various modules such as Lead, Student Services (SS), Registry, Timetable and Examination (RTE), Human Resource (HR), Document Manager (DM), Project Management, Fleet Management, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Accounts, Reports and many smaller but important modules.

Responsibilities:

●Spring MVC and Struts 2 application frameworks were extensively used for the delivery of the core modules of the project.

●API such as Apache POI, Docx4j and JSoup were successfully implemented for the development of Document Manager module.

●Developed Software Engineering Solutions using Agile Methodology.

●Implementation of Frameworks such as JQuery and ExtJS UI for UI development.

●Implementation of MyBatis and Spring JDBC as a ORM.

●Version control achieved through SVN.

●Tune SQL Queries for report generations.

●Developed Calendar Module reusing available resources which could display events inserted through the system.

Practicum Project Description: The Social Media Android application named “Musician Hub” was developed which used REST web service. The main features of application included create profile, create music post, like and comment on music post, share post to social media (Facebook for now), generate push notification on liking and commenting on the music post and basic music player. The REST web service was hosted on LAMP server on Raspberry Pi device. And all the push notifications were generated from the Firebase Cloud Messaging service from the Firebase. And, Google Volley was used to call all the REST web service endpoints from the android application.
