Managed a multi-million-dollar operating budget using pivot tables & drafted budgets for each house plan & subdivision with 40 expense items. Developed a spreadsheet that forecasted two months of all cash inflows with less than a 1% margin of error. Maintained monthly reports for the CEO, investors, & insurance agents. Currently drafting budgets for 91 residential houses ranging from 1400-3000 square feet.

Accounting: Organized invoices ($1 million monthly average) by project & job to create draw packets for investors to review before funding the current construction cycle. Reclassified $50 million of WIP to COGS from closed jobs over the last two years. Responsible for all AR data entry. Recorded all construction loans & house sales into the database using the double-entry accounting method. Assisted the company’s attorney by reclassifying $700,000 of owner equity as fraudulent withdrawals of comingled funds which resulted in a restraining order against the financial manager & released $185,765 from an escrow account.

Finance: Conducted cost analysis in Excel to factor in new budget items based on product dimensions. Analyzed algorithms of DMSi’s forecasting module (Oracle Platform) to determine the reliability of its inventory valuations using a flow chart.

Accounting: Performed flux analysis for quarter end reviews to test internal controls. Reallocated purchase & sales orders to correct quarters based on contract terms.

Programming: Wrote a VBA for Excel macro program to send mass personalized promotional emails to a variety of potential customers with one-click.

Chess Director June 2007– July 2013

Director: Provided teaching material to instructors & organized daily activities of chess camps. Allocated payments & deposits into an Excel budget sheet to account for operating cash flow.
