Depending on production needs, supervised and operated 1 of the 3 production lines. Responsible for all aspects of the line including training employees into new positions, training new hires, ensured production yield goals are met, material requests, maintenance requests, chemical mixing, ensured all documentation was completed and correct, and material returns. Lean Manufacturing & 6S Leader

Jan. 2017 Korona initiated the 6S & Lean Manufacturing program of which I was asked to spearhead. This new position involved working alongside the Safety Department to improve all areas of the factory. Duties included use of visual, manual, and automated test equipment to determine the form, fit, and operational quality of image intensifiers. Followed ET instructions to assist with special test requirements. Set gain and determined resolution of intensifiers. Trained coworkers, and responsible for disposition and quality control of coworkers. Worked in a dark room using a microscope.
