Experienced Graphic Designer interested in becoming a Web Developer. A lot of experience with messy code that needs to be organized and custom fit for any browser. Want to apply my patience and understanding of complicated web practice and turn it into an art form.

●Logo Design - Custom designed the SCEncyclopedia logo and I content managed the website using WordPress. This is where I had to go through a lot of custom PHP files and create media query’s so that the website would look proper on different screen sizes. I also used custom CSS flexbox to organize the front page cards.

●Web Template Design using the Adobe Suite for SCEncylopedia, BlackSoldiersMattered, and Native American South Carolina Archive (NASCA). I also custom built the HTML5 skeleton using Bootstrap in Adobe Brackets for NASCA its appearance using CSS3 and jQuery. Content Mangement System (CMS) used was GitHub.

ZDA Communications

Graphic Designer

February 2017 – May 2017

●Logo Design - The ZDA logo was modernized and simplified using Illustrator. We didn’t want to steer far from the original logo because the company was not that big and we didn’t want to confuse our customers. Also Excell Wireless logo was modernized through Illustrator.

●Catalog Design - I took photo’s of every single product the company owned and edited them using Photoshop. Then I organized a company mission statement and a catalog cover design into an InDesign file. I also made a design for the core values of the company preceding it were all the products organized with price and specification in a block format.

●I was also in charge of hiring employees to expand the Marketing Group of ZDA Communications so that we can start bringing in more revenue through direct marketing strategies like cold calls and Email marketing.

●There were several instances where I needed to clean up broken code in Joomla so that link on our websites would take us to the proper destination.

●Other Graphic Design duties included Flyer Design, Brochure Design, Sticker Design, Packaging Design, Photography.
