FLUIDS SPECIALIST, Basra, Iraq 2012-March 2014

Office based fluids/chemical advisor for BPs joint venture in Iraq, in charge of all chemical related areas for this massive project. Monitoring the fluids contractor’s performance with regular audits. Technical advice and regular presentations to the project team, and regular site visits to perform onsite audits. Set up RFTs for contracts. Setting up waste management protocols for future waste management contracts to clean up oil lakes (left after war), wastewater and solids waste treatment from previous operations.

IN HOUSE FLUIDS SPECIALIST, Pittsburgh PA 2011-2012

Chemical, fluids, solids control, and waste management advisor for Cabot Oil and Gas’ Marcellus shale project. Manage the various fluids contractors and monitor their performance. Audit fluids, and water treatment and disposal programs and end of project reports. Set best practices and ensure their use in the field. Conduct in house training.

DRILLING FLUIDS CONSULTANT, UK 2010 – 2011

Working as consultant for Clear Solutions on civil engineering projects onshore UK . This includes HDD work and initiated fluids for the first shale gas project in the UK.

Working with Schlumberger IPM Well Project Team to audit and improve the project’s chemical, fluids, solids control equipment, personnel, processes and procedures. Amassing lessons learned and forming best practices policies. Present in client’s office in Villahermosa, Mexico. Working language Spanish.

FLUIDS PROJECT COORDINATOR, HALLIBURTON, SIBERIA, RUSSIAN FEDERATION 2006 - 2008

Project Coordinator in Novy Urengoy, Siberia. Embedded in client’s office. Logistical, organizational, and HSE responsibility for the fluids and chemicals part this major project. This included technical sales support, writing of chemical and fluids programs for all operations; also writing and presentation of post job audits to client. Hired and trained engineers for this project. Technical troubleshooting and logistical support in this extreme environment.

BAROID FLUIDS COORDINATOR LATIN AMERICA. BASED IN VENEZUELA 2000 - 2005

Regional Coordinator for chemicals and fluids for Baroid/Halliburton. Responsible for sales and marketing for the region along with P&L for each of the individual countries in Latin America. Logistical coordination for the various international projects, as well as local material sourcing throughout the region. Expanded client base in each country.
