o PM optimization initiative undertaken based on failure history of equipment. A total reduction of 392 PM frequency was obtained leading to saving of 1584 man hours.
o Solved the problem of high spread in Gas Turbine at RIL power plant o Successfully completed various planned shutdown of petrochemical plants at RIL Hazira Maintenance, Reliability improvement and Troubleshooting o Identify opportunities and develop maintenance plans and schedule and reliability procedures based on failure consequences, MTTR/MTBF and periodic audits o Carry out Root Cause Analysis/FMEA for equipment failures and provide cost effective solutions for reliability

Resource Planning and Scheduling
o Establish materials/spares requirements and secondary logistics for achieving maintenance goals on continuous basis through PM scheduling and monitoring o Minimize material stock outs and ensure resource optimization to cut down inventory and maintenance costs.
o Carry out weekly and monthly draft scheduling with mandated preventive work having higher priority over routine corrective work
o Publish and distribute the finalized schedule and required work list to keep all production unit personnel and contractors informed
o Ensure proper synchronization of plans and schedules between the SAP and the external scheduling tool and ensure resource conflicts are resolved Project commissioning and Scheduling
o Develop and review maintenance schedules in details; verify initial estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work
o Review and verify adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during work progress, identify and proactively manage risks to delivery of assigned project o Work closely with operations, facilities and process engineering groups to ensure proper installation and timely completion of projects/ proposals within estimated budget for improvement and modifications
Work safety and Hazard Analysis
o Assess the risk of all day to day activities and prepare task based risk assessment (TBRA) and develop a formal Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) with all relevant parties. o Ensure compliance of mechanical engineering practices and assets with statutory obligations and ensure all work to permit procedures are followed
o Provide leadership in contractor safety towards achieving the goal of no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to environment
