Project Superintendent in charge of day-to-day construction activities, finished construction of the occupational health and recovery facility at the Veterans hospital in Palo Alto. Constructed 48,000 sf steel structures along with office space, locker rooms, basketball court and running track. Prepared 3 week look ahead schedule, reviewed monthly payment application with owner’s rep, wrote RFI’s, reviewed shop drawings, submittals and ASI’s. Ran weekly sub meetings and safety meetings. Construction Manager/Project Superintendent

Onsite construction manager for a design build 4 stories 420-stall post tension concrete parking structure with 2 elevators for Edison Power in Irwindale California. Project was design build there for no change orders were issued. Project was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. Managed construction projects for the FAA in Seattle, Washington, primarily the installation of new curtain wall system and new elevator. Directly responsible for all scheduling, budget and procurement of new curtain wall system. Successfully held change orders under 2% of total construction cost. Directed sub contractors in day-to-day construction activities. Oversaw QA/QC requirements and was responsible for all materials and quantities. Communicated directly with FAA service staff to ensure clients’ needs were meet. Tracked construction schedule and milestone dates for contract completion. Project superintendent for the new Central Plant facility for the City of Sacramento. Oversaw installation of all mechanical piping, boiler installation, Air Handler unit, VAV boxes, mechanical duct work, control wiring, steam line, water lines, electrical wiring, VFD units, sprinkler line, fire alarm and security system, existing building retrofit and build out. On-site project Superintendent for a 75-bedroom OSHPD $13M Alzheimer/Dementia care facility along with a new 4 story post tension parking structure was responsible for day-to-day construction activities. Marinship Construction, San Francisco, CA 1999 to 2004

Project Superintendent

Project superintendent for the installation of new underground 10,000-foot 20" diameter jet fuel line at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Fuel line was placed at 20-foot depth and trench required steel sheet and sheet piles along with quad pack shoring. Built three 42'X42'x30' deep fuel vaults containing fuel manifolds and transmission lines, mechanical piping, air handler units, ductwork control piping and wiring. VAV boxes. Procured all material and laid out all crews, wrote RFI’s, Change Orders, and ROM's. Maintained CPM schedule and tracked milestone dates. Performed daily observation and reporting for construction work activities. Installed all underground utilities at the North and South Parking Garages, storm lines, catch basins, sewer lines, fire sprinkler lines and hydrants. Maintained CPM and tracked milestone dates. Supervised 40-man self performed construction crew. Managed 2 new 6 stories 710 stall post tension parking structures at the new international terminal at San Francisco Airport, (SFO). Supervised installation of 48” RCP storm line and manholes. 1600’ of 12” C900 water lines
