I worked along side Laura or as a direct report for over 18 years. Laura managed a team of Managed Services Design Engineers that would design and implement enterprise networks for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. She loved to tackle the most complex projects or issues. Laura has a knack for breaking a complex problem into simpler tasks. Laura's team designed and migrated the Commonwealth of PA public and private WAN. Her team also upgraded a northeast public utility's WAN.

Laura not only demonstrated mastery for her core role but also the ability to take on new projects. She spearheaded the creation of an engineer work hours tracking system. She project managed the creation of a configuration standard used by multiple engineering teams. Her last project at Verizon will be remembered long after her leaving. She is responsible for the creation of a

tiger team consisting of global service delivery teams, engineering teams, and multiple NOCs to tackle the issue of how to reduce CPE and circuit management rejections. Management rejections cost the company money because it can bill the customer once the CPE and circuit are accepted for management.
