Consultant – Senior Program Manager – ITT Enivate
October, 2010 to February, 2013 (2 years 5 months) Valencia, California.
Hired by the GM to participate and manage the transfer of this project from Cleveland, Ohio to Valencia, California. This included the management of an integrated project team involved in the expedited startup of production capability and high rate deliveries of the seat actuation systems to China in support of their high speed railway seating program.
Senior Program Manager – Crane Aerospace and Electronics
July, 2005 to August, 2010 (5 years, 1 month), Burbank, California.
Responsible for the design, development certification and delivery of multiple executive seating actuator control systems that were installed on Boeing B767, B777 and B757 aircraft. Also systems that were installed on Airbus A330, A340 and A380 aircraft. Extensive “hands on” projects which required working at the production floor level through to the senior management levels.
Management of Change of Scope issues netted an additional $175 K in revenue for the company.
Senior Program Manager – Regent Aerospace
July, 2004 to July, 2005 (1 year), Valencia, California.
Employed by this company to set up and improve their United Airlines flight station seating retrofit and repair program. Improved turn times on the floor using Kaizen and Kanban stations to improve turn times for seats from 72 days to 7 days. Short assignment period with this company was due to an offer of employment being received from Crane Aerospace.
Senior Program Manager – B/E Aerospace.
August, 1999 to June, 2004 (4 years and 10 months), Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Managed several types of business class and first class seating programs which ultimately delivered to Boeing and Airbus for their aircraft product lines. Largest program managed was the JAL B747 Lie Flat seat which was at the cutting edge of seat design at the time. Seat ultimately won the design award for excellence from the Chicago Athenaeum - Museum of Architecture and Design.
Also included the on-time delivery of two major JAL seating programs for their B767 and B777 aircraft.
Project Manager – Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company.
July, 1998 to August, 1999 (1 year and 1 month), Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Off site manager stationed at the Qantas Air Base in Sydney, NSW with full responsibility for a flight management upgrade to the RAAF C-130J fleet. I had 30 direct reports with tight schedule requirements from the customer. The first of type C-130 was completed on schedule and on budget. I left Boeing to return home to the USA following an offer of employment from B/E Aerospace.

Flight Management System Program Manager - Honeywell, Australia.
November, 1997 to July, 1998 (8 months), Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Development of an Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN) FMS system in Indonesia.
The project was on budget and schedule but the IPTN closed all projects due to the country’s financial issues. My project was the only program that received the full NRE payment after this country wide closure.
Platform Project Manager - ADI Pty Ltd. (now Thales)
June, 1996 to November, 1997 (1 year and 5 months) Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
Management responsibility for an engineering, logistics and subcontracts group with full responsibility for the design, development, procurement and production support of the basic Huon Class mine hunter ship (first of type).
Re-planned the entire layout of this department into an IPT concept. Also held the title of Cost Account Manager for a $183 million budget. First ship launched ahead of schedule and under budget.
