EXPERIENCE

Business Analyst for IBM Global Systems at Xcel Energy September 2013 – November 2016

●Functional Design document writing: Gathered Requirements to create the Functional Design documents for multiple legacy Applications in preparation for the massive system integration from JD Edwards to SAP.

●Use Case, Requirements and Test Script writing: Crafted Use Cases and wrote Business Requirements for multiple projects. Wrote the test scripts for User Acceptance Testing, and accelerated the Vendor's improvements of the Application by providing analyzed validation test results for a massive Enterprise Application upgrade called Service Suite.

●Technical Specifications document writing: Created the Technical Specification documents during the design of the Xcel Energy Outage Map, while at the same time captured Business Requirements for the RFP.

●Processes and Procedure writing: Tackled the need for Process and Procedure documents, as well as blanket forms which enormously increased the PM group's speed in Project work.

●Best of Breed Server Activation Checklist for UNIX and Intel Project: Achieved integration of the Best of Breed Server Activation Checklist for UNIX and Intel for MITS organization. Spearheaded the overhauling of the checklist into an account specific process document for the Qwest account, significantly increasing server build speed, accuracy and quality of new UNIX and Intel server builds (9 hours reduced to 3 hours). Team became known as the model for Best of Class Server processes.

●GSD331 Project: Supervised and drove the implementation plans in all 20 non-deployment CIRATS, including managing bi-weekly status updates. Project created a secure I.T. environment, and met Governmental audit requirements. (ITCS104 and GSD331 standards are the IBM internal standards relating to IT Security, keeping IBM prepared at all times to meet the requirements of SOX 404).

●Special Projects for UNIX and Intel: Created multiple process documents including: MITS SWAT process, and the EOS process. Process documents improved the homogenization of the I.T. environment, and allowed for efficiency and quality in the organization.

IT Analyst II - Business Analyst, IBM Global Services April 1999 – January 2005

●Server Operations: Analyzed UNIX and Intel server outages, and provided metrics and trend analysis reports to upper management supporting commitments to SLA, created presentations in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Created all Intel Security Patching notifications and orchestrated the Change Management scheduling of mass changes. Educated all personnel in Problem and Change management applications.
