My professional contributions encompass an effective set of skills that have allowed me to successfully complete an array of complex projects worldwide, reflecting my strengths in organization, decision-making, and communication, with a keen ability to assess priorities and work well under pressure. I have an extensive managerial experience.

In Nicaragua, I was responsible for accounting reconciliation with local carriers and a Valued Added Service with providers in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama. To do this, I created data repositories, consolidated regional Key Principal Indicators using Microsoft intelligent tools. I worked in projects, that required knowledge of Linux administration in dedicated servers and cloud services for instance, Amazon Web Services.

I have at least four years of programming experience in creating service applications in gateway texting (SMS) and Elastix (Asterisk PBX), using PHP and Python for some modules. I used git as a version control program for tracking the changes of these applications.

I am well-motivated, dependable, and I work well under pressure. I am a team player. I am a cheerful and personable worker. My goal is to develop a long-standing relationship with a firm that would allowed me the opportunity to grow. I am a problem solver and I welcome challenge.

Front End developer (HTML and CSS) doing maintenance and modification of WordPress sites. I manage about five different sites, doing updating, modifying, and servicing sites to keep them properly functioning and user friendly.

Local Interconnection & Valued Added Service (VAS) Manager / Telefonica

2012 – March 2017

I was the Manager of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable of VAS responsible for four employees. I had to create, review, and send financial reports to the Finance Department. I was responsible for monitoring services to analyze revenue, cost, and profit that allowed me to identify trends and create technical reports.

International Long Distance Carrier Specialist / Telefonica

2005 – 2011

I developed commercial agreements, strategic alliances, and services with international long distance carriers’ operators, as: AT&T, Verizon, and Ibasis to mention a few. I monitored services, recommended actions to the management team to reduce costs, increase profit, and improve the quality of service. I elaborated technical and financial reports to compare and analyze the company’s financial position. The company was revenue driven and financial data had to be constantly analyzed to shift managerial strategies.

Regulation Specialist / BellSouth (Central America)

2003 -2004

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the national telecom regulation by keeping up-to-date with national and international telecomm legislation. Developed arguments and explanations to present to the national regulatory authority for approval of new services and to request additional or new licensees.

Rural Telecommunication Consultant / World Bank Telcor

2000 – 2003

In a program financed by the World Bank, I prepared strategies, and analyzed legal and economic frameworks to develop pilot programs creating community information centers that would service rural areas. I worked in conjunction with the national regulatory authority, who implemented the programs.
