2007 – present: Vice President of Engineering, Cantine Armament Inc., Smyrna, TN Lead the design development, manufacturing and qualification of $35M of advanced weapons control systems for rotor and fixed wing aircraft. Integrated nearly fifty (50) aircraft in domestic and middle east markets. Drove the design of user friendly interface controls with complex electrical and mechanical fire control assemblies and cabling for rockets, missiles, and guns. Confined by ITAR regulations, first articles were qualified and delivered in less than eight months. Directed the certification of products to MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-810G. Developed and implemented new processes, methods and quality systems for a successful qualification and certification to AS9100C and ISO9001:2008 with design.

1987 - 2007: President, Power Technologies Inc., Tempe, AZ Started this custom power supply company from the ground floor. Developed, qualified and delivered more than 35 UL and CE approved high density, high reliability power supplies for communications and satellite applications. The company was continuously profitable with positive cash flow while achieving (arguably) the highest gross margins in the industry. 1984 -1987: General Manager, Lambda Electronics, Corpus Christi, TX Managed one domestic and one international power supply and integrated circuit division to renewed profitability thru administrative, engineering, production, improved yields, and sales growth. The two-year turnaround resulted in a $2M profit on $15M in sales, from a
$2M loss on $13M in sales.
1978 – 1984: Director of Integrated Circuit Operations, Medtronic, Tempe, AZ Introduced microprocessors to implantable electronics for life support applications. Drove the improvement in technology from discrete semiconductor to microprocessor based control for sophisticated implantable pacemaker designs. Planned and executed a board of directors approved construction of a vertically integrated semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. Improved the quality, availability and cost of custom controllers for implantable products. Availability was shortened to months from years, reliability metrics improved to 99.999% from 99.2%, and costs were decreased by nearly 20% while functionality nearly tripled.
