Duties:
Supervised repair operations on machinery and hydraulics. Pumped at one of two stations when
needed as a rotation pumper. Was instrumental in building and powering a small (first of its kind)
work barge used to keep barpitts deep by wheelwashing. Changed out parts/repaired John Deer
tractors, Link Belt & Bob Cat Excavators always keeping repair cost down.

-Supervise cleaning crews. Job surroundings included shipyards, Boats, Tanks, barges, dredges, Oil
spills ect.
When work slowed and allowed me, I took on a sales position and began to target new accounts and
visit current customers and build a relationship between them and I to learn more about their
organization and their needs.

Duties:
-Coordinated inspections, including Coastguard, Sire, Ovid and routine customer inspections.
Worked closely with safety and maintenance dept. to make sure that all vessels awaiting pre-job
inspections were prepared for such and crews were given proper foreknowledge of what was about
to take place.
-Supervised any vessels not equipped or built to pass inspections be sent to one of our four
shipyards where modifications and improvements would follow.
-Actively participated in each inspection and worked closely with AWO auditor and prepared notes
regarding any changes in future Inspection procedures.
-Required in on-call duties to go out to locations our equipment worked at and update or fix
equipment failure or possible future safety concerns.
- Inspected all sanitation units, piping, rams, hydraulic hoses, spotlight/lighting and electrical issues,
fuel, water and diesel transfer pumps and hoses on vessels preparing to go to work and vessels
already on job locations.
-On Shell, Liquid Mud, deck and Living Quarter barges, insured all barges were ready for work
before and after completion of job.
- Pressure tested bulk tanks and air compressors before and after jobs and re-modified internals of
deck & Bulk barges.
-Supervised welders in wasted deck barges who's internal trus frames and bottom and side angles
would not support dry docking. (Did all modifications on water) Barges were then able to be dry
docked for bottom repair.
-Called out regularly to inspect our barges after jobs ended at cleaning facilities in and out of town.
-Supervised pressure washing, painting and scaffolding crews that painted the internals of new 170
X 70 offshore brgs. and internals and externals of new shell brgs.
-Relieved shipyard supervisors and have dry docking experience lifting boats and barges on
company dry dock for repairs. Was also responsible for all hydraulic crane lifts and forklift procedures
during repairs.
-Began working for CBR as a dispatcher for 9 years. Job entailed renting out inland and offshore
barges, boats, and hiring equipment from outside brokers. Relieved Operations personnel during
holidays, vacations, sick leave or customer relations activities. Responsible for all night and
weekend on job repairs, diving call outs and personnel issues.
-Maintained CBR's purchased rental property (buildings, shops and land) Maintenance included
carpentry, roofing repairs, siding, plumbing, electrical and drainage issues.

Soloist with a very respected Choir in Alexandria, La.
- Recorded many live projects there with the choir and sang in their yearly Easter musical "Messiah".
The musical was attended by President Clinton and his White House Staff 2 years
-We were invited and sang at both of his Presidential Inaugurations
-Performed in a concert on the South Lawn of the White House aired nationally on PBS
-Sang the National Anthem for the Houston Astros two years in a row.
-Had many years in the recording studio backing up various artists.
-Recorded my own CD at Praet Recording Studio in Alexandria, La.
-Sang with the group "Higher Faith" which recorded three projects. Two in Alex. La. and one in
Nashville Tenn.
