I just retired from a Sales Career that required 150 plus days per year of travelling all over the US and Latin America. I like selling Tangible Products that require demonstrating and presenting the product to all levels of management and buyers.

Sales and Sales Management, trained in every aspect of the Telecommunications Industry and the Sporting Goods Industry. Very comfortable with presentations to large groups, CEO’s, warehouse managers and all ladders of an organization. January 2017 to Present

Accepted this position as a part time Floor Sales Associate. Duties include sales of golf equipment of all types, club repair including gripping and loft and lie, Specialist Fitting Expert for all types of golfers and good will ambassador for EW Golf. This is a part time position I accepted after retiring from Sales (approximately 25 hours per week). The position does not pay enough and is simply not that much of a challenge. I miss the sales arena and the competitiveness.

PCT INTERNATIONAL – STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS MANAGER

March 2011 to October 2016

As the Strategic Accounts Manager for this $100 Million Company in the Telecommunications Industry, my responsibilities were the Corporate Offices of TWC, Cox Communications, Bright House Networks, Cable 1 and Century Link. I sold Fiber Products, Cable Wire, Connectors, and all other hardwire to hook up a CATV System. I was responsible for $10M of sales including finding new business. I retired from this Position after 31 years in the Communications Industry. My retirement is not because lack of desire to work but instead a desire to travel less overnight.

MULTILINK INC – VP CORP SALES

Elyria, Ohio

February 1996 to March 2011

As the VP Corp Sales I was responsible for all Sales to TWC, Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, and Bright House Networks in the Cable TV market. Products sold include all hardline products used by these MSO’s to build their Cable Plants. This is a $60M dollar per year company. I was responsible for $25M of the sales for this company. I left because of exhausting travel over 200 days per year throughout the US and Latin America. I simply needed a position that did not require me to travel as much.

December 1985 to February 1996

I worked for these companies during 11 years and was a top sales producer for each company. In each case of leaving them, these companies were either sold or downsizing and I was one of the casualties of their mergers, sales or downsizing practice. The 80’s and early 90’s were rampant with this type of corporate fluctuation. I obviously was seeking stability in a company when I moved from PPC to Multilink.

These were the positions I held upon finishing College. I left College in my Senior Year to Pursue the PGA Tour. After 6 months of playing I realized that my game was not up to tour standards and began my career in the golf industry. I spent 5 years as the MacGregor Sales Representative for the Carolinas. Each time I moved positions it was always to make more money.
