EXPERIENCE
THE PENN ST, UNIVERSITY, 08/2015 to Present
Tagline Application Extension
Created a device driver for an abstraction of a data storage device known as a tagline. The driver sat between a virtual application (aka the tagline) and virtual hardware known as a Raid array, which is a collection of disks with fixed sized blocks that are read and written to. Extended to add a block cache and used a local network connection to transfer data between the tagline client and tagline server
Bluetooth Integration Application Project for a Fortune 500 Corporation
Created an App to interface with a thickness gauge wirelessly. The thickness gauge had no Bluetooth capability prior and was created for Android using Android Studios.
Java was used for the interface and SQLite was used for the database for storing measurements.
Page Replacement Project
In this project, a program that emulates the processing of memory access was extended.
The program took a sequence of memory accesses as inputs and emulates TLB, page table, and page fault handling to process that request.
File System Journaling Project
Involved adding a journaling feature to a RAM disk file system.
In particular, implemented a slightly simplified version of "Metadata Journaling."
