Duties Included: Working in a clean room producing medical supplies, running two mold machines. Weighing material to load and unload from machines. Recording hourly production into the computer. Packaging the parts up at the end of the shift and turning it into QC to be final checked. Keeping area clean and making sure the next shift is set with product to start. At Hana I was loading camera chips into a machine that focused the camera and puts epoxy on the chip to keep it focused. I had to set up the machine. Set the needle to center it. And adjust the flow of the epoxy. Then remove them and inspect them under a microscope. This was also a clean room.

Duties Included: Running a rubber press. At this machine would be a work order with parts. First I had to make all my tags for my material produced. Read my work instructions on how to insert the rubber strips into the mold machine. Match material numbers to the work order. And we had to use silicone balls to attach the two strips of rubber together. I would have to verify the size of these balls on a scale. I would have to put two strips in the machine and also one of these balls and put the arm down for a certain amount of time. Then lift up the press and remove the hot strips from the machine with gloves on. Inspect the pat for defects such as crimps or tears. Then measure the good part and fold it up and twist the part umber tag onto it and hang it on a rack in a timely manner for QC to final check them. Assembler/Production

Duties Included: Either being on a fast production line putting toppings such as nuts or caramel onto pies as they came down the lines from the ovens to the packaging area. I've also done quality at the same time pulling off pies that were light weight or damaged. And later pulling them off if they did not wrap correctly from the wrapper. I also worked on a manual line about 10' long. Starting with making boxes and dating them and sometimes adding a label to them. Then setting the date stamp machine and the glue machine. Next we would retrieve pies from freezer put them into the pie boxes send them down the line to be sealed and packed into shipping boxes and then stacked onto a skid.
