Experienced in welding in 1G, 2G, 3G, & 4G positions

Work with 7018 and 6010 filler metal rods

Proficient in preheating and post heating weldments

Strong familiarity with hand and power tool operation

Examined weld for bead size and other specifications

Performed visual observation as a weld technician

Reviewed welding specifications and procedures, read welding procedural manual

Observes and follows all safety rules procedures, wearing all safety equipment

Grinding, beveling, arc cutting and gouging

Tested and qualified as a welder per ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1.

Work required to meet 100% X-Ray per codes ASME SEC IX B31.3 and ASME V111 Div.1 & 2

Inventoried welding consumables and coordination of usage

Operated other machine shop equipment to prepare components for welding

Support of plant construction and maintenance activities.

Knowledgeable of all aspects of welding shop theory and Safety procedures
