WORKING EXPERIENCE

2015- Date

Am working with J&T Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Senior Accountant it was due to hard work & good performance as an Accounts Assistant that I was employed back at a senior level.

2013- Date

Am working with Rural Agri-Innovation Network as the Finance Officer. Being an upcoming enterprise with a diverse plan on how to help poor communities come out of poverty, the whole executive team is involved in the research activities. And this has helped me gain experience in research and working with diverse communities.

2010-2012

I worked with J&T Pharmaceutical co. as an Internee and due to a good performance, I was retained as an Accounts Assistant. I gained skills in QuickBooks’ Accounting which was the package we used in recording accounting transactions.

April 2007

I participated in a research “ Effects of ARVs on Communities” as a Research Assistant under Plan International in Kamuli District. This was supervised by Makerere Universitry Institute of Public Health.

2004-2006

I worked as a Resident Advisor at Bulamogi Rice Mill Cooperative Society, my major duties and responsibilities were to provide Administrative support to the office, deal with inquiries from farmers, prepare and maintain books of accounts. The Project was funded by Japan International Cooperative Society, and this helped gain experience in dealing with an international organization.

Other Experience

2014

I was on Industrial Training, with Kamuli Town Council in the field of Accounting.

2000-2001

I was the secretary for finance Kamuli District, Under the Uganda National Students Association. My responsibilities were to manage the books of accounts collaborate with various stake holders such as, Heads of Schools in the district.

SKILLS

I have acquired basic accounting skills as a result of the accounting practice at various levels, as internee, employee and industrial trainee.

I have also developed good communication, administrative, interpersonal skills and organizational skills as a result of holding various responsibilities and relating to people with different backgrounds.

I am computer literate and able to use Ms Office software, Excel, Tarry, QuickBooks and the internet, comfortably.

I have developed good research techniques as a result of the several research exercises under taken.

I am able to communicate fluently in English and Swahili
