Experience:
Research Assistant-Computer Networks SDSU, Jan 2017-present
Developing a simulation prototype for Spatially Distributed Directional TDMA (Layer-2) with QoS in MATLAB.
Developed a distributive algorithm for nodes to decide upon the time slots to send data packets between the node pairs using a 3-way handshake process along with tracking of location of each node with link_hello messages.
Implemented a scheme where nodes can scale down their individual desired throughput taking the channel capacity into consideration by ‘Priority Desired Throughput Scaling’ method.
Currently working on above mentioned protocol for long distance links where propagation is not negligible with CPT, CPR method for a topology of half-duplex multi-beam and will be implementing the same for hybrid topology of full-duplex/half-duplex nodes. Projects:
Mini-project-Cryptography May 2017
Implemented a one-time pad cipher in python.
AES cipher (both encrypt and decrypt) in CBC and CTR mode using Crypto library in python and Crypto++ in C++.
Term project-San Diego State University Oct 2016 - Nov 2016
Implemented Task scheduling algorithms like EDF,RM,EE-EDF,EE-RM in python language .
Improved the performance of EDF by 6% with EE-EDF and that of RM by 8% with EE-RM Term project-San Diego State University Nov 2016 - Dec 2016
Worked with Windows IoT 10, Raspbian, Ubuntu Mate-16.0 to study the performance parameters like memory usage, CPU, network parameters by developing an IoT - M2M application using paho-mqtt library.
Design project-San Diego State University Oct 2016 - Dec2016
Designed a single micro strip patch antenna and a transmission line fed 2x2 array of micro strip patch antenna with corporate feed network using HFSS.
Acquired knowledge about the array antenna performance and micro strip patch antenna design. Additional Skills
